Mapping Environmental Actions in Malaysia on 2/6 – Volunteers Needed!

MESYM is calling out for volunteers who are interested to help map out good environmental actions in Malaysia. Come join us on 2/6 (Sunday) and participate in a day of learning and fun!

Here’s what you can expect:
The day starts from 10am onwards, and ends around 6pm. There will be a briefing, but the idea is that we will spend the day researching on Actions, Profiles and Events, and updating the MESYM website with what we find. We will guide the volunteers on how to use the site, and what to do. We will work in teams to focus on different regions in Malaysia. All volunteers will have their contributions acknowledged on the website and in their individual profiles.

We’ll be working beside a swimming pool, so anytime you feel like you need a break, just jump into the pool to cool off! We’ll also cook and make home-made yogurt smoothies. If you share our excitement of mapping out good environmental actions all over Malaysia, you’ll be in good company of like-minded people. By the end of the day, you will leave with the satisfaction of learning about all the awesome initiatives in the country, and knowing that you have helped in linking them to a larger network.

Your laptop. Swimming suit and related gear if you intend to swim.

How to participate:
Send us an email today at and we’ll give you further directions. We’re holding the event at our place, walking distance from Bangsar LRT.

Welcome to MESYM!
