CAT Walk 25-26 October

Please follow the steps below to register for this trip:

1. Download and read the information pack here: CAT Walk & Border Walk Joining Information (.pdf) for more detailed information on the Walks, e.g. how to get to Merapoh, the accommodation and the equipment you will need.

2. Please fill in your personal particulars here (if we already have your details, just fill in the CAT section):

3. Email the following documents** to

  • Malaysians – front and back scan copy of your IC
  • Non-Malaysians – scan copy of your passport front page and entry stamp.
  • Signed Indemnity Form.

** For permit application. Repeat CAT volunteers can skip step 3.

4. You will receive the bank account number of the guesthouse at Sungai Yu. Bank in or transfer RM55*** each (accommodation for 2 nights + Forest Reserve entry permit) and email the confirmation slip to is non-refundable.

*** Accommodation cost may vary depending on duration of stay.

Places are confirmed as soon as step 4 is completed on a first-come-first-served basis and are limited to about 8 people / trip. Only a few spots are open, so hurry and register now to join us!

Activities include hiking, birdwatching, looking for animal signs etc in the forest, where your presence will help deter poaching activities.
