CAT Walk 29-30 July 2017 (Open for registration!)


Your spot on a CAT Walk is confirmed as soon as you completed the steps listed below. Participation is on a first-come-first-served basis, and are limited to 10 people / trip. Alternatively, if you have a ready group of friends, staff, colleagues, etc., do contact us to find out if a CAT Walk can be arranged. Volunteers wishing to participate in CAT Walks must be at least 18 years old and is physically fit.

To join a particular trip, please follow these steps:

1. Read the Joining Information Pack for more detailed information on the Walks, e.g. how to get to Taman Negara and the equipment you will need.

2. Register and pay, here.

Note: For credit card issued by banks outside Malaysia, some banks may place a security block on your credit card as a safety feature. You may have to request the bank to lift up the security block on your card for this transaction, if such situation occurs.

3. Email the following document* to
a. Malaysian – scan (JPEG) of the front IC
b. Non-Malaysian – scan (JPEG) of the passport bearer information page.
*To apply for permits to enter protected forest areas. Repeat CAT volunteers can skip step 3.

A CAT Walk will take place with a minimum of 5 paid volunteers. In case of cancellation by MYCAT, volunteers will be informed 4 working days before the CAT Walk date and the participation fee will be refunded.
