Community Engagement Sharing Session

Community Engagement Sharing Session

By the University of Malaya Community and Industry Engagement Centre (CitRa), the UM Environmental Secretariat (UMCARES) & the Universities and Councils Network on Innovations for Inclusive Development (UNIIDSEA)

27 Nov 2013

This sharing session will present the community engagement work of University of Malaya (UM) researchers, students and staff to those who are keen to learn from this work, or to industry members who might be keen to support or sponsor such work. Another unique aspect ofthis session is that the voice of the local community will be heard through community representatives who will also share their experience interacting with UM members and how they or their community have evolved as a result of that work. This programme will be of interest to industry members, CSR agencies or consultancies, funding organisations, relevant government agencies and UM Alumni members.

The session is open to all at no cost, but we request that you register with us before 15 Nov 2013 so that there is adequate food for all (and no wastage thereafter). Vegetarian options will be available. The session will be held at the Research Management and Innovation Complex Seminar Rooms (ground floor). For more information on the sharing session, please call the UMCARES office at 79676769 or Hafizudin Ishak at 22463353.
