This information was gathered and published by MESYM from this source.

Retail energy prices in Malaysia have been relatively low in the past due to subsidies for consumers and industries. As Malaysia embraces more efficient and sustainable economic policies, we will naturally progress towards market pricing for energy.

The time is right for corporations and individuals alike to start thinking about opportunities within the energy efficiency space, as well as how challenges of cost and operations can be managed to meet busienss ideals.

In the upcoming Industry Speaks titled ‘Does cheap oil weaken the case for energy efficiency’, we will discuss:

  • What’s in it for businesses to adopt energy efficiency going beyond CSR?
  • Current and future demand and viability in the development of energy efficient technology
  • Implications of energy efficiency on environment and urban planning
  • Consumer demand for energy efficiency products and services

Come hear a panel of speakers discuss openly about these ideas and opportunities in the energy efficiency space.
