MYCAT Sg Yu Community Outreach programme

Also known as “Harimau Untuk Selamanya”, this programme is our long-term commitment in the fight against illegal trade and consumption of endangered wildlife since 2007. This year, we return to Sungai Yu to reaffirm our conservation message on the importance of wildlife and habitats in the most important wildlife corridor in Malaysia, and the need to save them from criminals who threaten their survival.

If you speak fluent Malay (the main language spoken by the community here) and are comfortable interacting with kampung folk (adults and children in schools), come join us! We’ll also be getting signatures for the#NoMoreDeadTigers petition (please sign it here if you haven’t:bit.do/mycatpetition)

When: 9-13 April 2016 (Saturday – Wednesday)
Where: Sungai Yu in Merapoh, Pahang

You can learn more about the previous outreach here:http://goo.gl/jICVeR. Volunteers will be trained to conduct the activities, so don’t worry if you have no experience. Transport, meals and accommodation will be provided.

Please complete this volunteer form (https://goo.gl/bux9Nw) by 1 April 2016 to sign up (please leave the CAT section blank).
