Trip: Birdwatching at Bukit Rengit, Lanchang, Pahang

This information was gathered and published by MESYM from this source.

Bukit Rengit is about 1 hour 45 minutes drive from KL.  Birding will be along 2/3 km of tar road famed for having all 5 species of lowland trogons.  Take Karak Highway towards Kuantan and exit at Lanchang toll gate by 7.30 am, Sunday 2 June 2013.  Bring binoculars, drinking water, light snacks, mosquito repellent and umbrella/poncho.  Wear dull-coloured clothes, comfortable shoes.  We might go off-road so bring along leech socks if you have a pair.  The event will end around noon.

We encourage car-pooling – if you need a ride or can offer space in your car, please let us know.  Call (aft. 8pm) or SMS Mr Liung at 0123127998 or Mr Andy 0123992193 to register or for more info.
