Our aim at BSBCC is to give sun bears a second chance to live in the forest. After being rescued, Sigalung, our 9 year old male sun bear at BSBCC, took more than a year to take his courage to step into the forest again.

In July 2017, Sigalung has finally come out from his indoor pen to enjoy his life as a sun bear in the forest.
