Indigenous ‘ethnocide’ coming soon in Sarawak?

The Malaysian government plans to build 12 large dams as part of a development initiative known as SCORE (Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy). Amanda Stephenson, from The Borneo Project, published an article 2 days ago describing the consequences of building these dams, “all to generate electricity that no one wants”. I find it incredibly interesting (not to say certainly terrifying), so I’d like to invite everybody to read it as to be aware of what’s happening in Sarawak and how Borneo might be doomed (as if deforestation was not bad enough, now come the dams):
