Some positive news this upcoming Merdeka — we’re expanding!

We started as a very small team back in 2012 but fast forward 3.5 years on (say what!?), we’ve managed to grow some good roots and now we’re looking to work and collaborate with more people who believe in our mission to reconnect people with their food here in the cityscape of Malaysia.

  • Field Researchers (Urgent – Sept ’15)
  • Project Coordinator
  • Volunteers
  • Interns (min. 2 months)

We eat what we sow. Literally!
People who work with us must be able to:

  • Handle our garden humour (Please watch video above)
  • Be happy to garden
  • Work independently occassionally
  • Cook a decent meal for the team weekly
(we cook communal lunches from the garden every day, but are also happy to pop by the local banana leaf restaurant around the corner once in a while)

  • Must be able to travel to our headquarters off Jalan Gasing, Petaling Jaya
  • Basic conversational skills
  • Basic writing / data entry skills
  • Professional gardening skills not required, though those who have are encouraged to apply
