The Biji-biji Initiative champions sustainable living, minimising the carbon footprint and leaving a positive impact after everything we do. Reduce Waste, Work Together.
We champion sustainable living, minimising the carbon footprint and leaving a positive impact after everything we do. Through the use of green technology, waste management methods, and creative ways to reuse trash, we aim to inspire a society that is accountable for their waste and leaves a minimal impact on the environment.
Apart from what we do, we believe it’s just as important is how we do it.
Biji-biji works in an inclusive and collaborative way. We believe collaboration is superior to competition and it’s the best way to really innovate. At our open workshop, interested groups or individuals are welcome to participate in our projects and to design and prototype new ideas.
Biji-biji Sustainability Centre - We are based in a 9,000 sq. ft. space in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. This workshop serves as our prototype development centre, production and storage facility. This space is equipped with tools and machinery, such as wood working tools (miter saw, jig saw, cordless drills, etc.), metal working tools (welding machine, angle grinder, metal drill, etc.), sewing, stitching and grommeting machines (industrial and fabric machines).
