Hey everyone! In conjunction to Race For A Better Planet (RFABP) and also Vive Green Market, 2 special workshops are held for free by MENGO and also Ecoknights on the same day!

Always unsure on how to deal with all the kitchen wastes, food scraps, leftovers and rotten vegetables? Recycle those nutrients back to our Mother Earth by composting!

Join the backyard composting workshop in which Ecoknights will share important fundamental tips to kick start your own compost to do at your home! Get to equip yourself with all the brown and green knowledge in composting which is as simple as 1-2-3, and get a chance to bring home a 60 litre compost bin for FREE to start your journey with the composting community!

Workshop starts at 12.30pm

Starting your own edible garden is no longer a challenge once you’ve join this workshop loaded with the science and mechanism or aquaponics, one of the many ways of urban farming in this new era!

Join us as Poptani will share with you more natural and efficient forms of home farming by using a jars-jars kit. It’s a symbiotic system of fish and plants, where through the simple act of feeding fish, you can quickly grow a variety of plants. EcoMonth is an annual event held by not-for-profit environmental organization, EcoKnights.

This year, Ecoknights together with MAP PUBLIKA, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, The Good Shop and iCYCLE have come together to bring you PUBLIKA ECOMONTH & MAPFEST 2017. Held in conjunction with Publika’s MAPFEST & Earth Hour celebrations, the annual event will take place from 18th to 26th March at Publika – with Earth Hour falling on 25th March.

The event is a platform for Malaysians to engage and participate in various sustainable activities via Green Market, Get Organic Market (G.O. Market), Eco Workshop, and Film Screening. EcoMonth offers diverse and unique opportunities for ecologically conscious businesses, individuals, and communities to join forces and facilitate into building a nation that is eco-elegant and proactive in sustainability.

Come and listen to five of Malaysian’s top corporate leaders that are strong advocates for sustainability and find out what it takes to walk the talk.

The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is one of the first and biggest environmental film festivals in Malaysia. In the last six years, the Festival has reached out to approximately 46,000 Malaysians through its film screenings at selected venues all over the Peninsula.

Conceptualized and organized by non-profit environmental organization, EcoKnights, the Festival is used as a tool to facilitate building a nation of ecologically conscious businesses, individuals, and communities through on-ground activities and film screenings focused on critical environmental issues.

Partnering with important sustainability leaders in the country, the KLEFF is steadfastly paving the way to encourage and inspire grassroots communities to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. Award-winning environmental films, interactive learning classrooms, and creative clusters within the Festival help to stress the urgent need to take positive actions today. In addition, the KLEFF also works closely with Malaysian higher institutes of learning with the aim of assisting in the development and progression of environmental communication.

The Festival offers diverse and unique opportunities such as film screenings, workshops and talks on sustainable living, fun and creative nature craft activities for children, performances, exhibitions and fairground attractions.

  • The walk is open to all participants of age 13 and above. Free admission for children below 13 years old but they will not be eligible to receive goodie bag.

  • All participants to register and collect the message bib on event day from 7.00 am to 8.00 am.


  • Any online registration that is not followed with online payment will become invalid registration.
  • Therefore please ensure to pay online when you register online.
  • Maximum of participants: 1,000
  • No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registrations.
  • Substitution is strictly NOT allowed. Please ensure to register for yourself.
  • The decision of the Competition Committee is final when accepting entries.
