Even with the sophistication of today’s cameras, not every shot comes out just as we would want it. Sometimes the composition is a bit off, or the exposure or colour is wrong. In other cases your photo may be a bit ordinary, but you have an idea for a different artistic approach to create a new exciting image.
What can you do?
In the past the answer involved hours of fume filled darkroom time. Today, powerful but inexpensive software will allow you to apply post processing techniques to your digital image and recover a lost photo or create a totally new image.
Join Stewart Forbes and the MNS Selangor Photo SIG as we explore ways to recover from photo glitches, enhance already fine pictures and create new visions as wild as your imagination will allow.
See the most powerful post processing tools in action and some of the latest photo manipulation applications that you can use to take your photography to a whole new level.

Malaysia is still blessed by good biodiversity and ecosystem. We encourage Malaysian in general to appreciate the rich fauna and flora with this good ecosystem that we have inherited and one of the ways to do that is to document them in photography.
Alex Foong and George Ng are from the Malaysian Nature Society Photo Group (Selangor Branch). They have been very active documenting the wildlife in Malaysia and would like to share their passion with you all. Most of the images are captured in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Besides sharing the camera equipments used for wildlife photography, the 2 speakers would also like to share on the techniques employed to bring back the shot.

Nature photography and conservation often go hand in hand. Many conservationists started photographing landscapes and wildlife in an effort to help gain support for their cause. Nature photographers can see the impact their photographs could have, inspiring people to want to help the environment. Photographing wildlife living in their natural habitat has been a way to bring a little bit of nature to people’s living rooms and teach people more about the other inhabitants of our planet. MNS President, Henry Goh will be sharing his photography passion with the public during KLPF.
Come and lend your support to our President and do drop by our booth too to say Hi or volunteer with us from 9 to 11 Oct 2015. Please email to Alex Foong at afoong16@gmail.com to volunteer.
