Mud-ball Throwing at Luyang by JCI (Kota Kinabalu) and Donggongon Basel Church

Mud-ball Throwing at Luyang by JCI (Kota Kinabalu) and Donggongon Basel Church went well despite hot and rain at the same time.

About 500 mud ball thrown on the three location along the luyang drain. One, next to Luyang Plaze. Second, behind the Veterinary Clinic and third junction near Petronas Filling Station.

To Earth With Love Chairperson Deric Chiew said, the program are getting lots of attention especially from individual and ogranization such as the JCI (Kota Kinabalu) and Donggong Basel Church.

The key to the success of drainage cleanliness is from the household usage. People need to know that no matter how many mud ball thrown into the drain, it is useless as there are many still indiscriminately throw their food waste into the drain.

The mud ball is not the solution but more on creating awareness to the public to treat their food waste with the EM before leaving it on the drain. The more household using it, the more less our big drainage smell bad.

JCI (Kota Kinabalu) has expressed their commitment to promote and expand more environmental awareness program into their activities calendar.

Workshop to teach the public on how to treat their household waste.

Grass is an abundance source of waste material around the city and urban area. Many tend to just threw it and let it decompose at backyard or roadside pending to the authority to pick it up.

Not many people know that grass cutting is a very because they break down very quickly and are great organic mulch. Mulch made from grass clippings is good for your lawn because they will provide about 25% of the lawn’s fertilizer needs in a natural, cheap organic method.
